Where Do Our Old Ballasts go? How are they Recycled and Reused?
- PCB/DEHP containing capacitors are removed from cover materials
- Capacitors are sent to an EPA Approved incineration facility via hazardous waste hauler and manifest
- Hazardous capacitors are properly incinerated, which eliminates generator liability.
- Non-hazardous materials (copper, steel) are separated for reclamation
When processing is complete, we issue your company a Certificate of Recycling that verifies proper disposal.
